Neurosurgeon

Neurosurgeons specialize in treating conditions of the central nervous system, primarily through surgical methods. They examine test results and determine the best plan needed for patients. They administer surgeries on the brain, spinal cords or other nerves to help treat patients. They meet with patients and their families to help inform them about the progress of the health care treatment. They may be responsible for emergency surgeries on patients.
